Hi, and welcome to Trip My Journey.

I’m a Seoul-based traveler who has spent years exploring South Korea — from the obvious must-sees to the quiet neighborhoods and small towns most guides skip. After watching friends from the U.S. and Europe land in Korea confused about visas, transit cards, and where to even start, I built this site to be the guide I wish they’d had.

Everything here is written from the ground, not from a press release. When I recommend a neighborhood to stay in, a way to get from the airport, or the order to see Seoul’s palaces, it’s based on real experience getting it right (and occasionally wrong) myself.

What you’ll find here

  • Practical, up-to-date travel logistics: entry rules, eSIMs, transport, budgeting
  • Honest itineraries for first-timers and repeat visitors
  • Neighborhood and accommodation guides written for Western travelers
  • Food, culture, and the small details that make a trip feel effortless

My goal is simple: help you spend less time confused and more time enjoying Korea. If something here saves you a headache, it’s done its job.

Thanks for reading — and safe travels.
