Trip My Journey is built around Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan. Egypt is the one exception so far — four guides covering the Nile corridor and the Red Sea coast, written to the same standard as the East Asia city guides: what to see, what it costs, and how to get there.

Planning an Egypt trip
- Cairo first, then decide. Luxor is a short flight or an overnight train south; Alexandria is a couple of hours north by train.
- Hurghada is a different trip. It is a Red Sea resort base, not a sightseeing hub — pair it with Luxor rather than treating it as a Cairo day trip.
- Ticket prices change often. Each guide notes the date its prices were checked. Confirm at the gate or with your operator before you commit.
